Our Story

Me and John met through a dating app, to which we both received a notification saying ‘we bumped into eachother’. I was at home and John was on his way back from Football. I then received a message from John, and as they they say the rest is history…

Jump 5 years, and on our 5th anniversary we decided to go away, we visited York for a mid-week break. John suggested why don’t we dress up for a change…me being none the wiser agreed.

We booked a table at a restaurant on the River Ouse. Ordered food and then John started rummaging through his jacket, me thinking that he’s forgot his wallet, he got up and walked to myside of the table and got down on one knee and proposed with an amazing ring. As John would tell everyone ‘I blubbered’
